ok here is the deal. There is either a virus on this site, Logan’s or the chatbox. Or….but I am getting virus alerts detected and after being all three of these sites just mentioned. I have run spyware 3 times today. It is an windows file. I think it is a temp. windows file. Sound familiar Logan. Ok… just a heads-up Crysatal had the same problem. So, I am going to do some investigating. Hold on…. I will report my finding later! Hopefully…. lol…if my windows shuts me down. LOL

What difference does it make if the kid(s) want to get 5000 sympathy hits, it is a matter of choice whether you particpate or not. They will learn just like everyone else did that people lie and… what’s for dinner.
I addressed this way up there on Aug.19. The whole reason I addressed it Brian was because how many times did we deal with that whole silliness before over the last 2 years, and by some twist of fate..everyone by a miracle, survived or reported that they were on vacation and someone hacked their site and they didn’t know anything about it. The point I was making is…there will always be little games played. It is part of growing up in the wordpress world …hmmm…just like in the real world. 😆

i wish that if someone even wanted to pretend to be sick, or on their death bead or some other freak accident to get blog hits, i wish they wouldn’t use something as twisted as cancer. because it’s totally putting all those out there that do have cancer in vain.
from what i read, it looks like the girl was diagnosed with cancer one day, sent to get chemo the next day, and fell into a coma like 3 days later. thats impossible. that’s rotten and disgusting.

one of my friends is reading that book. Everyone is reading ”Twilight” at my school. I think its more like a chick book than an action book. I also don’t like the fact that it KILLS the Dracula legend. It took away all original thought of the REAL vampire. So i stick with my Jules Verne/science fiction adventure books. But this isn’t a book club so i wont start ranting.(i have also heard twilight be called,the devils bible,emo kids religion,and real killer of Dracula[last one by me 😉 ])

As for the level of which i mingle with at my school AND at these sites,i think the problem is NOT of the age,but more of the culturally influenced they are. If i told someone about Monty Python at my school they would say ”Whose that?” and ”whats a monty python?” when i tell them they say ”OH! the people in The Holy Grail!” thats the only ‘python’ thing they know. They also dont know much about other nation cultures mostly cause THEY DON’T CARE. They focus on the celebrities in the US and nothing else. But thats just my area. As for people on the sites i work at..I dunno,but its frustrating that noone cares anymore. But you,Zipo,and Brian, are exceptions. Only people i know that know as much as you do. So i enoy talking to you both. 😀

spring started weeks ago on the west coast. winters usually last like three weeks. summer lasts 5 months. 🙂

zipo i think you get out of school like 3 months before i do. summer doesn’t start, for me, until like June 🙂 I still have another four months, unfortunately, so I have really nothing to highlight yet.
But well…a new person has recently been added to an important part of my life. I’m half way to 30 years old. I started big bad high school. My musical alter ego is being tested to the max. I’m a happier than I was last year. I’m healthy (that’s highlight for anyone) My family is attempting to actually follow me to church for once. I’m not exactly at the top of my classes but I’m close, for the first time in my life. The voices in my head that tell me to do stupid things have silenced a bit. And for the most part, I’m happy.
Nope you are right on target! I was a little early in my question for you, only because I know you are ubber busy, and wanted to give you some lead-time. But this works for me really well. Last summer i put so much work into my blog and i loved writing and i loved my music. now, it’s like a part of me that’s not quite there anymore.. this blog is being neglected and i know it, i just can’t seem to motivate myself to do anything. just keeping myself busy so i won’t have to think. i’m stuck in a rut…these things haunt me to no end.
that’s my rant for tonight. i have to go do some homework but i’ll get that post done.
It took me a minute to understand what you first were saying. I get it now. Well, I wouldn’t be too upset. Blogging is like life, up and down cycle. “It was the best of times, it was the worst of times; it was the age of wisdom, it was the age of foolishness; it was the epoch…” but it was so much fun once to come on and it was an instant chat fest until sometimes past midnight. Just like everything, it changes with time. I go on a couple other blogs that it is almost the same as here. CP blogs still are around too, but they seem to be fading as well. Everyone is busy and spread thin. Getting older too.
I think Logan is really gone this time. I hate that when ppl just up and leave. I would rather like to have the chance to say my goodbyes. He was (is) awesome. I blogged on his first CP site before he went to the blinking yo blog. That whole CP group is all but gone as well. I talk to zoo yet. She replies now and again. Brian- Ah well i remember the days when everyone was on blogs and talking to one another. sad thing is the times when all those people were their, it was mostly disagreements. Thats what i regret. I still talk to Olly,Josh, and Npengi, but i wish our golden age(in history terms) wasn’t filled with such sorrow. As much good as bad. These new kids a come and have new ideas and ways to blog, leaving us old bloggers being left in a dust of new ideas and new people. Brett is just the beginning. Soon more will come…
Zipo- I have been in California, but i too am growing separate from the internet. But that isn’t too much a bad thing. Musnt forget the important things in life. But i will miss the good ol’ days of when i had a blog and everyone talked to everyone.

Yes mine is … destination France. Gram always has an itinerary set up. She wants to make sure we see “history and culture” as it should be. LOL We are taking another River Cruise. From Paris to Normandy. It is short. Have to admit, I love those. In the summer months when there, we just hang loose.

I addressed this way up there on Aug.19. I also don’t like the fact that it KILLS the Dracula legend. It took away all original thought of the REAL vampire. So i stick with my Jules Verne/science fiction adventure books. Where the flying heck is everyone? There is more activity on CP blogs than non-cp blogs. However I have found a few new blogs that the owners are really enthusiastic. They will burn out soon. As for the level of which i mingle with at my school AND at these sites,i think the problem is NOT of the age,but more of the culturally influenced they are. If i told someone about Monty Python at my school they would say ”Whose that?” and ”whats a monty python?” when i tell them they say ”OH! the people in The Holy Grail!” thats the only ‘python’ thing they know. They also dont know much about other nation cultures mostly cause THEY DON’T CARE. They focus on the celebrities in the US and nothing else. But thats just my area. As for people on the sites i work at..I dunno,but its frustrating that noone cares anymore. But you,Zipo,and Brian, are exceptions. Only people i know that know as much as you do. So i enoy talking to you both. 😀

zipo i think you get out of school like 3 months before i do. summer doesn’t start, for me, until like June 🙂 I still have another four months, unfortunately, so I have really nothing to highlight yet.
But well…a new person has recently been added to an important part of my life. I’m half way to 30 years old. I started big bad high school. My musical alter ego is being tested to the max. I’m a happier than I was last year. I’m healthy (that’s highlight for anyone) My family is attempting to actually follow me to church for once. I’m not exactly at the top of my classes but I’m close, for the first time in my life. The voices in my head that tell me to do stupid things have silenced a bit. And for the most part, I’m happy.
Those would be the highlights of my year, so far.
I hope I didn’t misunderstand your question.
Nope you are right on target! I was a little early in my question for you, only because I know you are ubber busy, and wanted to give you some lead-time. But this works for me really well. I am so glad for all the good stuff happening! I think this is a great idea for a post later …to get some highlights further on down the road. 😛

new post on it’s way. but i feel like i’m talking to a single face instead of my usual inside blog audience. kudos to you, zipo for sticking around for me. i still miss logan and olly and npengi and zoozoodeem and opus and josh.
Last summer i put so much work into my blog and i loved writing and i loved my music. now, it’s like a part of me that’s not quite there anymore.. this blog is being neglected and i know it, i just can’t seem to motivate myself to do anything. just keeping myself busy so i won’t have to think. i’m stuck in a rut…these things haunt me to no end.
that’s my rant for tonight. i have to go do some homework but i’ll get that post done.

It took me a minute to understand what you first were saying. I get it now. Well, I wouldn’t be too upset. Blogging is like life, up and down cycle. “It was the best of times, it was the worst of times; it was the age of wisdom, it was the age of foolishness; it was the epoch…” but it was so much fun once to come on and it was an instant chat fest until sometimes past midnight. Just like everything, it changes with time. I go on a couple other blogs that it is almost the same as here. CP blogs still are around too, but they seem to be fading as well. Everyone is busy and spread thin. Getting older too.
I think Logan is really gone this time. I hate that when ppl just up and leave. I would rather like to have the chance to say my goodbyes. He was (is) awesome. I blogged on his first CP site before he went to the blinking yo blog. That whole CP group is all but gone as well. I talk to zoo yet. She replies now and again. I will miss zoo when she goes for sure. I wonder where Opus is. He may check back in now again. Well, whatever happens, just remember it was all for fun. Oh, I forgot. I still talk to Sunny. She has all but quit, but I keep pulling her back. Ah, the old gang, maybe just got old. 😉

Brian- Ah well i remember the days when everyone was on blogs and talking to one another. sad thing is the times when all those people were their, it was mostly disagreements. Thats what i regret. I still talk to Olly,Josh, and Npengi, but i wish our golden age(in history terms) wasn’t filled with such sorrow. As much good as bad. These new kids a come and have new ideas and ways to blog, leaving us old bloggers being left in a dust of new ideas and new people. Brett is just the beginning. Soon more will come…

An open agenda sometimes finds you in some great places. That’s the spirit! Be an adventurer. I think vacations can become like work if you plan them all out. Yah, freelancing sounds refreshing. Yes mine is … destination France. Gram always has an itinerary set up. She wants to make sure we see “history and culture” as it should be. LOL We are taking another River Cruise. From Paris to Normandy. It is short. Have to admit, I love those. In the summer months when there, we just hang loose.

Rumors also continue to rumble that the Beatles catalog may finally be coming to iTunes, but such speculation is not new and many are doubtful. While an appearance by Jobs might dominate media coverage of the event at Apple, an announcement that songs from the Beatles — the most high-profile iTunes holdout — were headed to the online store would also be headline-grabbing.
However Tim Bajarin, president of consulting group Creative Strategies, called the Beatles chatter “wishful thinking.”
“This rumor does come around every year at this time and I am afraid that we will be disappointed again,” he said via email.
