School sucks. So does Health Net Inc. They’ve had me on hold for an hour now. The phone is beginning to make eerie buzzing sounds in my ear.

There’s this foreign exchange student from Sri Lanka that follows me home from school a lot. She’ll sit our curb for like an hour then get up and walk away. It’s creepy.

I started writing music again. I’m using Finale now. It’s so much cooler than writing it by hand. I want to go to a music school like Juilliard. Too risky. Can’t make a living off of music, they all say. But wouldn’t that be cool? I could be come a hardcore artist and start a whole new era of music. You guys would see me and say, “Yeah, that’s Brian. I knew him when he was just a stupid kid. I talked to him in chatrooms. Sure, he was a little bit insane, but hey look at him NOW!”

You know what song i absolutely hate the most in the history of music? It’s that idiotic song by Kid Rock all over the radio. I think it’s called All Summer Long. Actually i hate all of Kid Rock’s songs. The guy has like no imagination or creativity. It’s like the only two subjects he can write music about is drugs and sex. Loser.

ANYWAYS…it was my first day of school today. It was insanely dull. The teachers lectured and called us “children” and their faces broke out into huge grins whenever some kid asked a stupid question. It’s like they think we’re still a bunch of lovable innocent little 3rd graders. Do they realized how barbaric and nasty we really are? Do they really believe we’re all clueless morons that can’t function with out detailed directions and rules to set boundaries and guide us. Pshhh…adults DO NOT give us enough credit 😕

So classes were boring. In the “smart classes” (seriously they take AP courses way too seriously. Lower your ego a bit, people) all the kids are all uptight and…nerdy. But there are like 5 girls to every boy. In my biology class there were only like 3 of us guys and the rest were girls. Which is pretty cool.

So i hope your first days are better than mine was 🙂

I was watching a bunch of 80s movies with my cousins last night. I like The Breakfast Club. And Mallrats. Sixteen Candles was the best. Tell me what your favorite movies are so i can go out and rent them!

She Paints Me Blue

ZzZzZzZzZzZzZzZzZzZ….I’m drained. There’s so much to do before school starts. Most of it revolves around Marching band and football. (total opposites right?)

Football actually required a MIDNIGHT practice last night! And band camp always starts at 7:00 A.M. Ahhhhhh!!! The school year hasn’t even started yet and already I’m grinding my teeth together from the stress.

Not that I’m complaining. I love band camp. and football. It just doesn’t make a good combination. Especially when the football players make fun of me for being a band geek and the band geeks tell me football is for giant bodies and tiny brains.  I think i need to quit something. But i can’t decide. Football or Marching band?

Ughhhh…anyways. When does school start for you guys? This Monday is the first day for me.

Oh yeah and the Olympics! Did anyone see Michael Phelps last night? Holy crap, that guy is fast. My little bro calls him “the golden ninja” cuz he’s winning all those gold medals this year.
