It’s All The Rage
Like the title? Yeah I like it too. This is the super cool page where I post the super cool entertainment…stuff…for lack of a better word. Books, movies, television, and music. I’ll update it every few weeks, and if you want me to review something then ask.
Books:
A Million Little Pieces by James Frey.
I happen to be reading this book for a autobiography project. And it’s excellent. Really. Honestly. The author wrote the book about his time in rehab and getting over his addiction to various drugs and alcoholic substances. The book begins with Jame’s memory of waking up on an airplane with missing teeth a black eye, bloody nose, and a hole in his cheek, not knowing how he got there or how the injuries were inflicted. At one point he writes about having a root canal performed with out any anesthetic or gas. (I thought this was impossible so I looked it up and later found that James Frey exaggerated this) ANYWAYS. It’s a fantastic autobiography and mucho inspirational. So read it. Now.
Television:
Monk.

My mom bought me the first season for Monk for my birthday and it’s really a great show. Creative…a lot like Sherlock Holmes. It’s about a widowed detective named Monk, who has OCD, extreme anxiety, clau
strophobia and is afraid of germs, cars, heights, milk, airplanes, and a number of other things. But his brilliancy makes up for all of his issues and he’s able to solve every case thrown at him. It’s not really a show that I would normally watch, but it’s surprisingly funny. I think you guys would like it ![]()
Movies: T
he Curious Case of Benjamin Button.
Yeah it’s cheesy but it’s creative and I saw it with my friend who is obsessed with it ….and really it’s the only movie in theaters that I’ve seen recently. It’s really long too. Nearly 3 hours. Basically, Brad Pitt stars and as Benjamin and he is born as an old man and ages down as everybody else ages up. When he is 70 something years old, he falls in love with an 11 year old and as he grows younger and she grows older, they are able to have a relationship and have a kid. It has a sad ending but it’s a very interesting story. Read the book it was based on too.

oh shoot. i was supposed to review the black rabbit summer novel. i’ll do it next time.
Cool! I Love Monk!
Yes looking forward to the Black Rabbit. This is some post. Major thoughts here. I will read, digest, and report. In that order.
This a great page. Great idea you had!! I used to watch Monk but something else was opposite it on PBS. Love book reviews. It is always great to see what others are reading. Have yet to see the movie of BB.
I’ve heard of Benjamin Button, and still want to see it. It sounds like a great movie! The book sounds really interesting, I’ll have to check it out!
Oh, and the Benjamin Button story sounds a lot like the story of Dorian Grey. Another great classic.
n i c e p a g e!
i forgot to do music! sorry my mind is like all twisted right now.
Twisted is good sometimes. There is no pressure then.
Yes to music.
I am looking forward to the release of Watchman. Ya gotta love the caped man and all those super heroes! Is it my imagination or are they making these movies a little more “dangerous” then before? I mean like “dark” and more of the “bad boy” look. ROFL

I read reviews. I understand now that that is they way they are suppose to have been portrayed.
Yeah, they are making them a lot more darker. I mean, look at the Dark Knight! But I also think that is how they should be portrayed. There is evil, and there is good.
Evil should be portrayed as evil.
Brian, check out the music on this trailer. Ya gotta love it! Smashing Pumpkins!
Has anyone caught glimpseof a tv show called Flight of the Concords on HBO?
yeah I’ve heard of it but I’ve never watched it. I’ll look into it.
I’m seeing Watchmen next week sometime. (Is it even in theaters yet?) I saw Fired Up last night. I would recommend seeing that too
Watchman is not due for theaters until March.
Watchman was outstanding! Saw it this past weekend.
And Flight of the Concords continues to be on the edge and funny.
I should update this. I need to see Watchmen. Maybe next week once my parents let me out of the house.
Oo … you have been under quarentine. Well it is time they spring ya! =)
I’ve been isolated from the world. It’s boring. And depressing. But I’m much better now. I’ve proven myself worthy of going to school.
Wow, there must be a story behind this. But,glad you are back.
Me too! That must have been rather depressing. I am kind of in the same boat, except for my case, it’s because my mom always needs me working around the house. I mean, with 6 kids in the family, someone has to help her.
Mom puts kids in a boat alert. XD
