Hey so here are some songs that I’m into right now:
Signs – Bloc Party (ehhhh it’s pretty mellow but it reminds me of this music box one of my sister had, and it’s one of those sensory memory kinda things.)
Fireworks – Animal Collective (these guys trip me out every time I listen to them)
Electric Feel – MGMT (I thought it was just a subtle metaphor for sex, but it’s also about a wild Amazon lady that can shock people lol)
Ocean Breathes Salty – Modest Mouse
Asleep – The Smiths (I haven’t listened to them in soo long, this song always puts me to sleep…hence the title)
Know Your Enemy – Green Day (I hate Green Day’s new stuff but this song is horribly catchy)
Starstukk – 3oh!3 ( You can make fun of me for liking these guys, but it’s not going to change anything )
Videotape – Radiohead (Has anyone listened to their new album?)

Dude I’m so angry right now. Friday is our city’s Jazz Festival. It’s the one day where I’m free from everything. I was gonna go with my friend and just chill…however my dear father decides to ground me for the weekend for “talking back”. Okay so I admit that I was “talking back” but it was for a good reason. He wanted me to make him a bowl of ramen and I was like running out of the door so I could make it to my ASB meeting. So, no jazz festival for Brian. I get to wash windows and paint the garage door.
I guess I can work on my tan while I’m at it. I’m practically albino still – even after track and drumline.
I just reread that last sentence, and I sound so ridiculous.
Hey so I just got through with The Great Gatsby. I need some recommendations for a few weeks of last minute book reports. Please?
Also some music recommendations would be cool. I’m downloading stuff tomorrow.

that new green day song. it was predictable. their new stuff is just terrible, but their old stuff is pretty awesome. i love the song good riddance (time of your life). =]
and doesn’t 3oh!3 do that song “don’t trust me”? i’ve heard it a gazillion freakin’ times on the radio, and it kind of sounds like them. o.O

5 out of 8 … good percentage. For the most part, I hear the 80’s sound. Fireworks blows. Agitates the heck out of me. Asleep, yah, perks of a wall flower. Good read. Green Day is good, just not this Green Day. Starstukk, am I at a pep rally? Go me! I like it. Radiohead, always dark lyrics. Good pure melody. Radiohead’s Reckoner is a good listen. Ocean Breathes reminds me of the Flight of the Concord guys. Love them!

Flight of the Conchords has to be one of the best shows to come down the pike in a long time. I am glad to see you are on the cutting edge as well. :]
I didn’t start watching it until recently. So I’m not a true fan yet
But from what I’ve heard it’s excellent.

NEW YORK – Green Day has the most popular CD in the country, but you won’t be able to find it at your local Wal-Mart.
The band says the giant superstore chain refused to stock its latest CD, “21st Century Breakdown,” because Wal-Mart wanted the album edited for language and content, and they refused.
“Wal-Mart’s become the biggest retail outlet in the country, but they won’t carry our record because they wanted us to censor it,” frontman Billie Joe Armstrong said in a recent interview.
While Wal-Mart sells CDs from acts known for raunchy content, including Eminem’s latest, they offer customers the “clean” version of those CDs, which are edited for content that may be objectionable. But in Armstrong’s view, “There’s nothing dirty about our record.”
“They want artists to censor their records in order to be carried in there,” he said. “We just said no. We’ve never done it before. You feel like you’re in 1953 or something.”
“21st Century Breakdown” contains curses and some references considered adult.
Wal-Mart said that it’s the company’s long-standing policy not to stock any CD with a parental advisory sticker.
Both of the American Idol contestants were pretty good, like I said. But sometimes Adam was a bit too much.
And Kris was awesome, I loved his version of Heartless by Kanye West. 
In my opinion that movie Up… looks really dumb. Something about a house stuck in the air… a hot air balloon… I dunno. lol. Angels and Demons looks like a pretty awesome movie.
Up is for little kiddys. LOL But Angels and Demons is a follow-up to the Da Vinci Code …so it is going to be awesome!
I think anything watched during summer break will be great. That is what summer is all about… new experiences!!! Trial and error. Summer rocks!

I am going to be tired, but maybe up all night. HAHA

I hope it does too. The only reason I haven’t been around is because I’ve been working my way through finals and spending as much time with my friends before summer. It’s the last day of school tomorrow.
