They got married in a hot air balloon
January 21, 2009and suffocated in space.

Ah man today was pretty horrible. I shouldn’t really be complaining, so I’m not.
Just Kidding I am.
Inauguration Day, today, hooray. The Dean made the teachers drop their lesson plans so we could watch it in like 3 different periods, because he thinks we’re all stupid and could possibly learn something from it. And hear me out, now…I was interested in it for the first 20 minutes of his speech. But then our brain dead latin teacher had the brilliant idea of letting us “debate” on it. And all my brilliant classmates could come up with was….”DUDE, Obama is freaking RETARDED! He’s gonna doom the world and send us to hell!” and “WTF you RACIST! Obama is BLACK! he’s the best thing that’s happened to us!”
After that I plugged my ipod in and fell asleep. Stupid kids.
And really the day just got worse. I’m ready to drop and sleep for a few months.
But the formal’s on Saturday. Which is something to look forward to, I suppose. And drumline is up and running and I can’t wait for our first competition. I play3rd base…hoping for snare next year. Band is suffering from California budget crisis, which is simply freakishly irritating. Um our English class is working on Romeo and Juliet. And poetry…which I have absolutely not talent in. That’s really about it with me. Can’t wait for summer.
I haven’t posted a video in awhile because youtube has been weird. But I’ll try this:
Hysteria – Muse. Feel free to look up the video on myspace. it’s disturbing.
Title of the post sounds like a soap opera. LOL
You have lots to do
I will check out the vid.
I thought the inauguration was excellent. It always amazes me how people can show their ignorance so openly and ruin the day. Wow can use your iPod during class. Must be a very liberal policy on iPods at your school. Lucky you. Or, until you get caught. hahahahaha You have a winter formal. That does help the cabin fever. Ah, what am I saying…you don’t have that in your state. Lucky you. Good luck on the band thing Romeo.
Hmm. that hot air balloon line…is actually part of my stupid poem assignment. about my lovely parentals. But i like the soap opera thing. that’s great.
I still look forward to it.
It was really just my latin class that bothered me. It’s a CP class, which really shouldn’t mean anything, but it does.
My music hides under my sweatshirt hood and my elegantly disheveled hair.
The winter formal is a very big deal to my somewhat shallow class of 2012. I’m just a stupid freshmen. I don’t belong there. But apparently my date does.
Oh, on the ignorance comment, I meant the kids in your classroom!!! Geez, after I hit submit and then read my comment, it looked as if I was referring to ppl at the inauguration.
Obama’s inauguration speech wasn’t memorable to me at all for some reason. Same o’l “we Americans won’t be beat, we have great spirit..” Blah blah blah. He keeps talking about change, so I can’t wait to see what he’ll change.
Yeah, have fun with Romeo and Juliet! I never really got into shakespeare, but to those who like that sort of thing, have fun.
I’m a little excited at having an African American as a president finally, but I really don’t know anything about the man himself.
Sorry your day was awful.
Mine was dull.
Parents are a soap opera with no commercials. It is one long running show. LOL
You have a date?! Romeo…look out!
You take Latin? Wowzer!!! That and your parental poem reminds me of a joke.
There once was a catholic boy who lived in a neighborhood where every boy had a bicyle. The boy really wanted a bicycle so he went to his mother and said, “Mom every boy in our neighborhood has a bicycle so will you buy me one?” His mother looked at him and said “John ask your father but I don’t think we have the money for one.” The boy went and asked his father “Dad every boy in our neighborhood has a bicycle so will you buy me one?” His dad said “John we don’t have enough money for one right now ask God.” So the boy went to his room and started writing a letter to God. Dear God, every boy in my neighborhood has a bike and.. No that won’t work he said. So he started over. Dear God, I
really need a bicycle.. no that won’t work. He sat in is room thinking until finally he got an idea. He went to his living room and carefully picked up their statue of Mother Mary and took it to his room and gently wrapped it in a sheet and opened his dresser drawer and very gently set the statue in it and closed the drawer. After that he started writing “Dear God, If you ever want to see your mother again . . .
Sounds like you live near where i live brian! All the kids where i go to school at are literally racist saying hes the antichrist and that blacks arnt fit to be president and the such. I hate IT. The inauguration was exciting for me,but the feeling was not mutual. LOL zipo on the story. I wish i could listen to my ipod at school but it is against the rules and i would be sacked, beaten, and waterboarded. Our school is VERY VERY strict. But, i wish i could block out my classmates. Did you see yo yo ma’s performance at the inauguration? He and the rest were amazing huh!? I fav’d it lol
Thanks Npengi. I actually have no enthusiasm towards Shakespeare. But I’ll to at least try to read it.
Nice one, zipo. Haha, I remember when I first asked my parents for a bike. i remember it being a disaster. Jesus, i was such a dumb kid.
Opus, two words, SIMPLE GIFTS. holy crap, i love that little…tune. i played it last year and it always got stuck in my head…and it just makes me laugh. Ha. i sound so retarded. But it totally sparked my interest when the Inauguration band (yo yo ma’s?)played that song.
I can not believe that no one even mentions Itzhak Perlman! He is a legend in his own time! He plays all the great scores for movies (John Williams major times). He has been on PBS so much I think he owns it. He appeared on Letterman to Sesame Street and Mr. Rogers. Yes, I have known Yo Yo Ma as well, but Itzhak must not be as popular with some. All in all, it was one of the best inaugurations I have had the privilege to see. Simple gifts is played during many church services. It is a Shaker hymn. Very nice indeed and played on NPR a lot.
Fortunately I don’t live in an area where slurs are made on race, color or creed. We must just be boring.
whoa lucky you. i seriously want to stab some of the people that live in my city.
Oo… When I was in the fifth grade, our class went to see Othello. It was my introduction to real theater, even if was the movie. I didn’t understand the story line, just the excitement of being there.
i saw a crappy local performance of Oklahoma in the 5th grade. it was my first introduction to theater too. and i honestly detested it
until i saw Cats. Which was extremely extravagant. just kidding. i only saw that on tv.
I see Obama took the oath of office again. Two presidents — Calvin Coolidge and Chester A. Arthur — have retaken the oath because of unusual circumstances the first time around.
Hey this was on the UP.
The somber, elegiac tones before President Obama’s oath of office at the inauguration on Tuesday came from the instruments of Yo-Yo Ma, Itzhak Perlman and two colleagues. But what the millions on the Mall and watching on television heard was in fact a recording, made two days earlier by the quartet and matched tone for tone by the musicians playing along. “I really wanted to do something that was absolutely physically and emotionally and, timing-wise, genuine,” Mr. Ma said. “We also knew we couldn’t have any technical or instrumental malfunction on that occasion. A broken string was not an option. It was wicked cold.”
Along with admiration for the musicians’ yeoman work in the cold, questions had swirled in the classical music world about whether Mr. Ma and Mr. Perlman would use their valuable cello and violin in the subfreezing weather. Both used modern instruments. Mr. Ma said he had considered using a hardy carbon-fiber cello, but rejected the idea to avoid distracting viewers with its unorthodox appearance.
It wasn’t like lip sycncing though. LOL
yeah it would be just a shame to snap a string in front of the whole nation.
I’ve heard little racist comments in my area, the ones I’ve heard were directed at me by African Americans. Odd, huh? I don’t know if I’ve mentioned before that I am getting my GED at a community school, which means a level above where I go, there are kids who dropped out of school, and got in trouble. There are a lot of African Americans that go, and boy are they hating the world right now. Including mostly all white people. So yeah, I get people just glaring at me and muttering racist comments under their breath. It’s not fun. But you kind of have to expect racist comments to our new president. Think about it. There are lots of racist people against African Americans still out there.
racism is racism is racism and it will be here till the world ends. in California, Hispanics don’t really enjoy us,Caucasians, much, either.
omg happy late birthday brian! I can’t believe i forgot about it
sorry sorry sorry
you have always been a good friend and i forget your birthday? that is horrible
don’t worry about it. thanks. i like happy belated birthdays too.
anyway, even though i dont live in the USA i think obama will make a big change in the united states. And in the case he gets it worse (what is impossible because united states is in a deep crisis), we are not going to feel bad because anyone is better than that Bush. Anway i cant complain because here in london we have the stupid queen…
The world is full of those useless brains… like your classmates… but I always feel better when I compare them with me
lol
You forgot my birthday you weasel! ROFL….JK
Who said it was lonely at the top? People elected Bush for 2 terms…. you get what you pay for. LOL
God Save The Queen!
so true.
PS… just remember
One man’s ceiling is another man’s floor.
One man’s problem is another man’s solution.
One man’s molehill is another man’s mountain.
It is called LIFE!
And look at all the great comments here! Makes me smile!!
me too
ok i think i’m going to just start adding on to comments. watch you’ll see.
Yes… I see.
All though I don’t think mr green is user friendly.
what do you mean?
It is no consequence… just a passing thought…
In tribute to your Latin class….
CARPE DIEM…. and “seize the day”.
Ad astra.
ok
i love my latin classes!
latin posse sum futilis,
they’re pretty cool. sometimes i find myself falling asleep but i do alright.
ummmm…bonjour!
I never signed up for Latin. Can someone tell me how exactly Latin will benefit you in the real world? It is never going to be the second language. No one speaks it outside of church. Yes we have one priest who likes to add some flavor to high mass…but other than that… what?
Well I guess I got my answer. LOL
Looks good on the resume I guess.
I wish I had Latin classes!
Anyone can sign up for classes.
Absit invidia
idk. i just thought it would be cool. and a lot of my friends were taking that class.
Well now that is an honest answer and you can’t argue with that! I imagine the time spent on the history and the mythology is well spent.
yeah. i actually somewhat enjoy it.
what foreign language do you take?
I have taken French and Spanish. I have had 3 years of Spanish and too two of French. I took French as it was a fairly easy course for me.
So how was the formal? We are gearing up for Cabaret Night. A lead into Fat Tuesday… LOL…
Mardi Gras. That always sounds good as it leads into spring!!! We have had sub zero for so long… we might as well live in the Klondike.
the formal went surprisingly okay. i had a great time. my date was happy and my friends and their dates were happy and the DJ played good music. nobody got pig’s blood dumped on them and the few people that were drunk dead were escorted out of the premises.
Mardi Gras Mardi Gras Mardi Gras haha.
It’s not too bad here. we get cold streaks but nothing below like 40 degrees.
You avi looks familiar. LOL
Oo, sounds like there was a lot going on! Well glad you had a great time.
Pig’s blood? Want to explain that one?
Yum, I love Klondike bars!
have you ever read stephen king?
Oo I have watched many of movie by him.
I have seen The Fire Starters movie
